DisCO employs a necessarily complex scheme for the accounting and valuation of work contributions of several distinct and significant kinds. Here we describe the possible affordances of wiki for this ongoing practice of recognising and valuing contributions.
The practice includes managing ‘the dance of livelihood’ and ‘the dance of contribution’ in an environment of commodity exchange and capital accumulation, and accumulating resources in the commons.
The kinds of contribution to be rendered in accounts and valued are: - **material** (labour time, material production) - **cultural** (work of knowing and managing) - **aesthetic** (care work, emotional labour) and - **transformational** (making the living economy, harvesting dual power).
**Rendering accounts and valuing** In respect of some of the above contributions, metrics can be judiciously applied. Others call for discussing, conceptualising and valuing, as ongoing practices of the DisCO community in its deepening capability. A mixed capability, supported by mixed tools (cultural and doigital) is called for, and the literacy of mobilising these - in 'a dance of knowing' - is critical.

The common ground of this collaboration includes an orientation to production. Here we clarify what kinds of things are being produced and how we understand this diversity and weave it into a multi-textured fabric of practice, and of accounted-for ’contribution’.
